Villa East in Air Sanih
The East Villa in Air Sanih is an unusually spacious and open construction, being a detached building for two to six persons situated in a huge beach garden that will make you think of a beautiful park. The garden and the 100 metres of beachside belonging to it are exclusively used by our guests of Villa East. When building the villa, we used natural materials that are customary in the area, such as red brick from South Bali, slate from the region, Javanese marble, trunks of coconut trees, teak and Bingkirai timber from Kalimantan and bamboo from the Balinese mountains. We have chosen beautiful, partly antique furniture for this house.
The centre of the house are 60 square metres of living room/bedroom, wide open towards the apsis and the patio. It boasts a 2 x 2 m double bed, a large double settee, a writing desk, a cupboard, a stereo set and a fine selection of CDs and books.
There is an additional smaller bedroom with two single beds, a large shelf unit to stow away your belongings, a refrigerator, a safety box and an air conditioning unit. The large bathroom is mostly roofed with open space at the sides of the roof. It guarantees absolute privacy while providing a superb view of the tops of the surrounding palm and banana trees. Offering everything that you could wish for (WC, large wash-basin, lots of space for stowing things, a shower with hot and cold water, and a marble sink with fresh water to pour), the picture is completed by a miniature garden that renders using the bathroom an unexpected pleasure. For your convenience there is an additional shower in the garden.
Attached to the house there is a wide, roofed patio with two suites of armchairs, a garden pavilion close to the beach, again furnished with two suites for seating, a small ocean pavilion and an ocean terrace with deck chairs. This sums up to more than 200 square metres of living space, with the private beach garden having a size of close to half a hectare. The spaciousness of the property in connection with the aesthetics of the materials used, the architecture and the garden create a uniquely exclusive and private place for relaxation.
